Very good and useful practice of SQL. The JOIN party is pretty hardcore so I definitely couldn't master it but got enough of an understanding where I could learn quickly with some on the job training.

I really struggled with this course! It was super frustrating because almost all of the lessons were broken, in that I received countless syntax errors that required me to research why and because the instructions were just simply wrong. Several things seemed to be outdated and returned errors or were otherwise inconsistent with the videos. The instructor did a poor job explaining what she was typing and doing, resulting in endless pauses and rewinds to be able to follow along visually. The whole thing just seemed to be thrown together with very little effort and almost no emotion or personality. Glad this one is over!

This is the most important course of this certificate program yet the instruction and instructor are the worst. I felt like jumping from here to there without understanding things. The course never explains the logic of the programming language, it keeps telling me what syntax it is, so it expects me to memorize every syntax???

Absolutely no star I would say, I pass the quizzes 30% on guessing, and it should have been 5% or less like other program courses.

The pacing of this course was completely different from other courses. The instructor sometimes moved way too fast without thoroughly explaining some of the more complex topics, while other times there were really slow "refreshers" on very simple topics. The courses before this were definitely structured better.

Horrible explanations overall, especially so for Week 3's topic on subqueries. The entire time I felt as if I was simply mirroring the instructor without proper explanation as to why she performed the respective steps. Also, some datasets used in the videos cannot be found on BigQuery's public datasets.

Does not go in depth into technical skills like other online courses such as Udacity. Tries to cover a lot of material such as spreadsheets and SQL very superficially. I would only recommend this course if you absolutely have no knowledge at all about data analysis.

Worst course out of all. No structure, nothing related to analysis, just vague queries and explanations. And oh my, I believe this instructor was underpaid than the others the way she was teaching.

Need improvement in the course content. The instructor was too fast and skipped the basic information required to understand by a newbie. Moreover her way of teaching is also not good

I recently finished the "Analyze Data to Answer Questions" course as part of the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, and I must say it was an amazing learning experience. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to dive into data analysis and discover meaningful insights.

The course content was well-organized and covered a wide range of important topics in a clear and understandable way. It started with the basics, teaching me about different types of data and where to find it. Then, it progressed to statistical techniques and visualizing data, which helped me understand and present information effectively.

One thing I loved about this course was its practical approach. The instructors provided real-world datasets and guided me through hands-on exercises. I had the chance to clean, analyze, and interpret data, which made the concepts more tangible and easier to grasp.

The course used Google Sheets and other popular tools, which was great because these are widely used in the industry. Learning how to use them properly has made me more confident in handling data-related challenges.

The instructors were knowledgeable and engaging. They explained complex ideas in a way that was easy to understand. They also shared useful tips and best practices that helped me gain a deeper understanding of data analysis.

What impressed me the most was the focus on problem-solving and critical thinking. The course taught me how to ask the right questions and analyze data effectively to find valuable insights. These skills are essential in today's data-driven world, and I feel more equipped to make data-informed decisions.

I highly recommend the "Analyze Data to Answer Questions" course to anyone interested in data analysis, even if they have no prior experience. The course provides a solid foundation and teaches practical skills that can be applied in various industries.

Completing this course as part of the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate was a rewarding experience. I now feel more confident in my ability to work with data, analyze it effectively, and provide meaningful recommendations. This course has opened up new opportunities for me and I'm excited to continue learning and growing in the field of data analytics.

A big thank you to the instructors and Google for offering this valuable course. It has truly empowered me on my data analysis journey, and I'm excited to see where it takes me next.

What I really like about this course and prior courses in this Professional Certificate are the Hands-on Activity because I believe that in order to learn the data analysis and the methods and tools to be used, you need to have a grasp of it and follow and simulate what the instructor is doing.

I also like the reading that support the video tutorials. Too long but full of useful content. However, BigQuery is overwhelming due to it's user interface but soon I'll get used to it. Haha!

I just noticed that most of the video tutorials contains warning that prompts us to inform that there's a change in the tools, particularly in Google Sheets . I mean, it's ok. There's no problem for me at all. It's understood that re-recording the videos is time-consuming and costly.

Still, 5 stars for you, Google!

I learned a lot and I'm sure that I would be able to go back here to refresh my memory.

Thank you for the course. Great work!

This particular course was a little difficult for me but not because I did not understand the course materials. The weekly challenges and the course challenge was more difficult than the previous ones. Somehow, it was difficult for me to understand the way the questions were being phrased. But all in all the instructor was great; the course materials were good as well, which is why I am still giving this course 5 stars. I hope though the questions are phrased in a beginner friendly way. There is one particular question in the course challenge where I wasn't sure what syntax of CONCAT it meant. I got really confused because I practice of SQL Server rather than BigQuery. Maybe that was my fault for not studying more, but still. Nevertheless, 5/5. This course was a great lesson all in all. Thank you for your hard work!

All in all it's on the same level of structure and quality as other courses in this specialization.

The only advice I would give to my past self before entering this course would be to adjust my timing expectations. Subjectively it requires more time per week than any previous course in the specialization. This may be connected with the increased complexity, the need to investigate some challenges (there’re moments when what the instructor shows is outdated in comparison with how the public dataset looks now, and it’s a great time to practice problem-solving) and, seemingly, more units of information per week. This led to my usual rhythm being insufficient to stay within the deadlines: the choice was either to increase my time investments per week or feel bad about myself when pushing the deadlines.

This course was extremely valuable and, like the other previous courses, was well-organised, with each section following the one before in a logical manner. I like how both spreadsheets and SQL are included and that the same skills are demonstrated in each. I found the SQL parts to be of most value to me, as I am very comfortable using spreadsheets, and these were taught in a simple-to-understand manner. One thing that was not touched upon was the output of analysis, as much of the content of this course appeared to be pre-processing, or preliminary analysis work. I think that one of the future courses (course 6-8) will contain more in terms of statistical analysis. All-in-all, a very good summary of the data analysis process and working with data once it's clean and correct.
