I believe that John Ewald did a great job at covering the basics for absolute beginners. I will recommend others to check out the course too before diving deep into more specific topics.

This was an informative course, but I think it could stand to be a bit longer. Some of the concepts discussed were unclear, and delving into them more would have been helpful. All the examples reviewed were great though.
For the assigned reading material, I think it could stand to be updated, with more recent content.

Very elementary and short course. It is biased towards Google products, but that's expected. Overall a good course!

A bit too short. A more in depth course would be welcome

The subject matter scratched the surface of the subject, but somehow was unsatisfactory. The test is completely bogus. It doesn't test your knowledge, but tests your ability to "spot the difference" between answers that look 99% the same and have one or two words different. Super annoying.

Very high level, and then links to extremely detailed scientific papers. The way the quiz is presented is nonsense, very hard to follow or read.
